Dr. Sarah Asks some important questions of interest to Beaverton residents - Chiropractor Beaverton Dr. Sarah Asks...

Where do most Beaverton residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Beaverton newborn.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Beaverton parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.

Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

The typical office visit will be 15 minutes. Some patients do require more time and we will plan accordingly.

The visit will consist of your report to me of any changes since your last visit or any new concerns or questions you have.

Next I will analyze your spine and find your areas of subluxation and perform a spinal adjustment where appropriate.

Some visits will consist of manual therapies or muscle work, therapeutic exercises, and or home care recommendations. Often times I will check and adjust an extremity (shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, etc.) joint if appropriate. I may also give nutritional advice for those interested.

Each visit will build on the one before and at the end of your current care plan we will do a progress exam to note your progress.
